Frontend (React Native) Engineer

Job description

TL;DR: fast-growing health tech company (AI for stroke detection), Amsterdam, 55-95k euros, TypeScript, React Native.


  1. When a patient with stroke symptoms arrives at a hospital, the patient’s brain is scanned and uploaded into our cloud.

  2. We immediately run AI algorithms detecting stroke location (if any) and type.

  3. The result is uploaded back into the hospital, displayed in our mobile applications and web interface.

Your daily work

Your scope of responsibility will include:

  • Web UI (React).

  • The cross-platform Android and iOS app (React Native).

Tech stack


  • TypeScript.

  • React and React Native.

  • Redux.

  • Detox for E2E testing.

  • Jest for unit tests.

  • SLint for QA.


  • Python for ML algorithms.

  • Go for backend services.

  • Ansible, terraform, kubernetes for automating environment creation.

  • Docker and Google Cloud for serving the project.


  • TypeScript, React, React Native.

  • Be eager to learn the rest along the way. We don’t require you to know Python or Go but understanding the rest of the system will help you a lot in the long run.


  1. Salary € 55.000 - € 95.000, including 8% holiday pay and pension contribution. Are you worth more? Sure, let’s talk!

  9. No boundaries on your role. Want to try DevOps? Machine Learning? Backend web development? Designing architecture? Sure! We hire you as a frontend engineer but you can try other roles, and we will support you in it.
