WHY WE NEED YOU

NICO.LAB is looking for a Medior or Senior Front End TypeScript Engineer to strengthen the team. We believe that high quality and robust software, built using pioneering techniques, will help to empower physicians in stroke care to provide the right treatment on time.

As Front End TypeScript Engineer, you will work on both the mobile app (React Native) and web application (React). Both applications are directly used by physicians. You will apply your knowledge and skills to expand our products and thereby provide the best possible experience to physicians in stroke care.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  1. Expand and improve our mobile app
  2. Expand and improve our web application
  3. Work together with the backend team and help design and architect new functionalities for the mobile and web app
  4. Work together with the business, to help translate user needs into new scalable functionality for the product(s)
  5. Design and architect new functionalities

Job requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

You are a true engineer, always looking for the best solution and eager to learn. Although you like perfection, you know when to be more pragmatic and you strive for the right balance between perfection and feasibility. Frontend is your thing. You either know everything about the web and React, or you’re an expert on mobile React Native development. If you do have knowledge of Go, you can fulfill this role as a Full Stack Engineer. You are easy to communicate with and know how to communicate with both the backend team and the business side of the company.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Professional experience with TypeScript
  • Professional experience with Redux and React and/or React Native
  • Delivering high-standard, clean and well-tested code is your second nature
  • Experience with native Android or iOS development is a plus
  • Experience working in the cloud, service-oriented architectures
  • Experience with GCP and Docker is a plus
  • Knowledge of Go is a plus
  • You like to keep up to date with the latest technologies and standards
  • You are a quick learner and eager to learn
  • You love to share knowledge and want to help us grow as a team
