Nicolab is a fast-growing med-tech scale up that is looking for a Country Manager to drive sales in Germany. We need a tenacious, strategic and execution-focused individual who will maintain our strong market position and help us increase our market share.
As part of our growing team (this role is shared with 1 other Country Manager already active and onboarded in Germany), you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Nicolab. We have a great funnel of sales opportunities and we’re working alongside our partner Philips and our global team to accelerate sales. You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead Nicolab's sales and go-to-market strategy in the assigned territory as an individual contributor, focussed on presenting offers to new and existing customers, managing the install base, and meeting and exceeding your sales targets.
Work alongside our partner Philips in Germany selling Nicolab’s (acute care) software. Our current product is focusing on the stroke workflow.
Devising, communicating, leading and executing a Regional Territory Plan to deliver increased market share
Understand sales cycles, to effectively manage your pipeline
Actively identify new sales opportunities and convert them to commercial contracts
Achieve sales plan quotas for Nicolab products on a yearly target
Build and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) that will lead to commercial opportunities
Strengthen existing partnerships and cold call new prospects
Build and maintain active networks in the neurovascular space (including Neurologists, Radiologists and Intervention Neuroradiologists) as well as (regional) acute care networks.
Identify, articulate, and demonstrate the value proposition to key clinicians, IT personnel, hospital administrators, and C-Suite that drives purchasing decisions
Give product demonstrations in a virtual environment or in person
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
To excel in this role you’ll need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic and results-driven with a proven track record of commercial success in healthcare SaaS sales or the MedTech industry. You’ll be tech-savvy and able to demonstrate and use software products while understanding basic IT infrastructure. Exceptional presentation and communication skills are a must. An understanding and familiarity with medical imaging data and (acute) care workflows would be a strong advantage.
SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Sales Expertise: You should have a deep understanding of sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals. Strong sales skills will help you build relationships, identify opportunities, and persuade potential customers.
Product Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of our products and services is essential. After onboarding, you should be able to articulate the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of what you're selling, and present and demonstrate these to customers. We will help you with these skills. Understanding the market and industry trends will also help you position Nicolab's offerings effectively.
Adaptability and Independence: As our sole sales representative in this territory, you'll need to be self-motivated and able to work independently. You should be comfortable with autonomy and be able to adapt to changing circumstances, market conditions, and customer needs.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are crucial. You will need to effectively communicate our value proposition, listen actively to customers' needs, and clearly convey information and proposals.
Relationship Building: Building strong relationships with customers is vital for long-term success. You should focus on developing trust, understanding customer requirements, and providing personalized solutions. Maintaining regular contact and following up on commitments are also important aspects of relationship building.
Problem Solving: As our representative on the ground, you'll encounter various challenges and obstacles. Being a resourceful problem solver will enable you to find creative solutions and overcome barriers to achieve your sales goals.
Time Management: Efficiently managing your time and prioritizing tasks is crucial when you're solely responsible for sales. You should be able to balance multiple responsibilities, manage your sales pipeline, and allocate your time effectively to maximize productivity.
Resilience and Persistence: Sales can be challenging, and rejection is a common part of the process. Developing resilience and persistence will help you bounce back from setbacks and maintain motivation during difficult times.
Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry developments. Conduct research to identify potential customers and evaluate market opportunities. Analyze data and feedback to refine your sales strategies and improve your results., and work with the Nicolab development team to pass on the feedback from the field.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
BA/BS degree, Master’s preferred, or equivalent job-related experience
Proven track record of commercial success in healthcare SaaS sales or the Med Tech industry
Be familiar with neurovascular imaging (CT, Angiography and MRI) and (acute) care workflows
Exceptional presentation skills in all settings (clinician meetings, C-suite, large groups)
Tech savvy and able to demonstrate and use software products and understand IT infrastructure
Familiar working with a CRM (SalesForce experience is advantageous)
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and travel within Germany
Fluency in German and English is a must.
