Contract Manager

Job description


Nicolab’s sales team has the challenging task to sign a large number of customers all over the globe. You will help the sales team draw up and negotiate contract agreements for products and services. In this position you take care of the contract negotiation process, enabling the sales team to focus on bringing in more new customers. You will play an important role in bringing together a standard set of contract documents, enabling Nicolab to scale from a few dozen to hundreds of customers.  Through a transparent approach to customers, you convince them that Nicolab is the right partner for the long term, in addition, you support us with reducing the time it takes to sign a contract, enabling Nicolab to reach its goals!


  1. Help the sales team to negotiate and close deals with customers

  2. Prepare and edit contracts between Nicolab and customers

  3. Support the delivery of a complete set of contract documents including a “verwerkersovereenkomst”, SLA and order form

  4. Work on both national as international agreements

  5. Serve as the main contact for outside contracting representatives

  6. Take responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate contract completion with customers and partners

  7. Coordinate with customers and partners to guarantee contract terms are fulfilled

  8. Research regulations to guarantee contracts updated and in compliance with relevant legislation

  9. Prevent or handle breach of contract in a timely manner.

Job requirements


You have outstanding negotiation, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You are able to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You are a team player, persuasive, and able to build trust-based relationships by delivering on commitments. Contributing to and influencing key commercial and contracting decisions make your heart tick.


  • 3-5 years working experience in a similar role

  • In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents and relevant legislation

  • Dutch native, fluent in written and spoken English

  • Degree in law (HBO minimum)

  • Experience in healthcare industry is preferred
